2016 - Class Web Site Award |

Our web site has had over 30,000 visits! And a large part of that number is due to the efforts of the G-Man, alias Gary Henline. Through his efforts by commenting each day about the featured classmate as well as reminding everyone of the upcoming special 50th Reunion, he has contributed immensely to the successful continuation of our web site. He has contributed many stories, poems and other zany writings--all of which brought smiles and hearty laughter to all of us readers.
G-Man's award has the TVHS mascot, the mighty Bulldog, showcasing the great performing G-Man. G-Man's efforts resemble those of the tenacious Bulldog as well as other K9s! The tireless pursuit of classmates to contribute comments to the web site and attend this 50th Reunion reminds me of the persistence of the fabled mountain coon hound. Never giving up the chase until the coon, classmate in this case, is left with only very few options. And always being loyal to memories and cherished friendships of Tygarts Valley High School he is like the 'ole farm collie'.
It has taken a special individual to continuously inform and entertain us through our class web site. G-Man is that special person,

Today's Featured Biography
Evelyn Dodrill-Snyder
In January of my junior year of high school I married Larry and this year we celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary. Upon graduation from high school, I worked as a clerk at the Huttonsville Post Office from 1966 to 1972. In the fall of 1972, I became a stay at home mom to two children, Jodie and Kirk. We lived and raised our family in Huttonsville over the next 33 years. Larry retired from UPS and we relocated to Elkins in the fall of 1998.
Both of my children also graduated from Tygarts Valley High School. Our daughter, Jodie Snyder Parrack obtained her Bachelors Degree from Davis & Elkins College. She is currently the newest State Farm agent in Elkins, WV. She has one daughter, Kara LeeAnne Parrack a second year graduate student attending West Virginia University. I enjoyed the opportunity to babysit my one and only granddaughter until she began kindergarten.
Our son, Kirk obtained his Bachelors Degree from Davis & Elkins College and completed his EMBA from West Virginia University. He currently resides in Atlanta GA working as a consultant at Deloitte & Touche.
While living in Huttonsville, I attended Tygart’s Valley Presbyterian Church and currently attend Landmark Baptist Church in Elkins. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, knitting and quilting.
