The NHS Class of 1964 will attempt to commemorate our 61st year since graduation if enough classmates are interested. Traditionally, our class reunion is held on the first Saturday in August. If we get a quorum - this year's event will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2 pm, at as yet an undetermined location. The Iron Skillet, a Narrows restaurant, is closed. Bringing an "under $20" gift for a classmate is a tradition. More information will follow as the date nears - so, use this site, Face Book, telephone, or email for updates. Be sure and RSVP by July 15, 2025! Facebook contacts are Delores Lawson, Jerry Hubble, Bobby Evans, or Linda Delap. New ideas are always welcomed!

After graduation I worked for Kroger, Westvaco in Covington Va. In the fall I attended Bluefield State College (65-66). Moved to Hopewell Va. worked for Firestone Fibers. Married Jennifer Jones in Pearisburg Va. We were married for almost 57yrs. Jennifer passed April 21,2023. In 1970 I worked for Reynolds Metals, Bellwood Va. While working at Reynolds, attended John Tyler Comm. College, in 1974, graduated with degree in Electronics. After graduating I went to work for Chesapeake Paper West Point Va. Retired Sept.2008 (Smurfit Stone). Jennifer and I were members of Tri City Church of Christ, Hopewell Va. and Fairmount Christian Church, Mechanicsville, Va. 1969 until today.
