Today's Featured Biography
Shamun Mahmud
After being graduated from Jefferson in 85, I spent two years at Virginia Tech. Funds were low, so I returned to NoVA. Went to NVCC from 87-89, received an A.S in BusAdmin. Went to Mason, got my B.Sc in Econ and IRM. Worked for a semester at Sprint then become a "school fool" all over again! I spent 92-93 getting my MBA from Madison, just couldn't seem to get out of The Commonwealth. Spent 6 months working as a DBA full-time and delivering 'Za for Andy's Pizza. Saved up some dough (that was bad, sorry). Took a trip across The Pond. Spent 6 months backpacking thru Europe. Talk about diversity and enlightenment. It was there that I too became enlightened to wonderous ways of Socialism. No poverty, low crime. Everything that our country was not (and still is not). Sounds kinda weird coming from the owner of a mortgage brokerage. Been working at huge companies from 96-02. Then I took a walk on the 'small cap' side. Work still sucks. Even if you are the boss! Still...A bad day on the ice beats a good day at the office. Although I am not married, I am still in no hurry to "settle down". However, I am certain everything happens for a reason. My main hobby is playing ice (and inline) hockey. I also enjoy playing guitar, tennis and soccer. My greatest treasure is my nieces and nephews! We are looking to form an inline hockey team, aka Ducks.
Gosh darnit, I'm a nice unlce and people like me! Life has been truly good for me, as I hope it has for ALL my fellow TJ85'ers!
