Today's Featured Biography
Tosha Thompson Link
After graduation I attended Howard University in Washington, DC and received a business degree with a concentration in Marketing. I then worked for a casino in Atlantic City, NJ coordinating special events for two years before joining the Peace Corps. I served in Ghana, West Africa as a business advisor to a widows organization. After two years, I moved back to DC and worked several years for nonprofit organizations (youth mentoring, urban farming) while getting an MBA. After the graduate degree, I bought a small retail business, kinda like a Kinkos, where I met my wonderful husband who was a customer (we eloped two weeks after our first date!). Almost a year after we had our beautiful baby boy, I closed the shop with great relief!
I'm a part-time nonprofit consultant specializing in general management and fundraising and a full-time stay-at-home mom. We live in West Africa for a part of each year and we'll be there during the reunion so I'll miss the one but hopefully I can make the next one. Peace and blessings to everyone!
