Today's Featured Biography
Brad Bowles
After graduating from FHS, I followed friends to UT. I worked part-time at Martin Marietta and took a job with SAIC when I graduated in December of '89. That fall I was accepted into a Master's fellowship at Arizona State. Motorola sponsored my fellowship and when I finished the program they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I married Melissa Luttrell in the summer of '93. The marriage lasted 7 years, but the memories of Walk the West playing "Sympathy for the Devil" will last forever!
I met my dream girl in February 2002, shortly after returning from my first trip to Australia. She was also from TN and is a class of '85 girl. CJ and I were married in March 2003. Our honeymoon was spent in London, Dublin, and Paris. The next year our son Connor was born on the Ides of March - CJ couldn't wait 2 more days until St Patrick's Day. (I told her he'll be mad when he is 21!) Two years later our son Nathan was still-born on April 27th.
When we learned we had more kids on the way, we decided it was time to get closer to ouf families. I accepted a job transfer to Huntsville, AL, in late-2008. In 2009, on Ground Hog's Day, our twins Trane and Teagan were born. Trane is named after my roommate and friend Lt. Col. Trane McCloud who was KIA in Iraq.
We look forward to our trips back to Knoxville. We have enjoyed making short trips to see friends all over the Southeast. And really, REALLY enjoy being a day's drive to the beach!
