I was born "Michael M. Smith" but underwent sexual reassignment surgery in 2005 and am now legally female. I have been married to fellow Bartlett, 1972 graduate, Tanya Dee Smith since 1977. We lived in the Memphis/Bartlett area until 1996 at which time we moved to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota where we currently reside.
