Served as one of 24 national evaluators for three years in the development of the Certified Construction Associate Program which is a construction oriented degree program offered only through a correspondence program. Courses in which I participated included construction law, human relations, business and economics, OSHA/Safety, public speaking, construction contracting, principles of insurance, collective bargaining, accounting and applied business statistics.

Founder and Owner of this travel service. Although routine operation is promoting and selling cruise packages, the preparation of personalized land excursions is also a specialty feature I design. Serve as on board ship representative for groups of 60 or less cruise clients. Responsible also for design of promotion materials, organizing social events, preparation of cruise documents including port data, assisted in total travel package itineraries. As Contractor Administrator: Reviewed all subcontracts and contract purchase orders for correctness. Subcontractor coordination. insured contract compliance procedures throughout the life of the contract.
As Affirmative Action Officer: Reviewed and updated affirmative action plans as necessary; jobsite posting; jobsite superintendent goals coordination; monthly reports of minority utilization; developed new programs for specific projects, As Assistant Project Manger on public works project and earned 12% profit on the l+ Million dollar project.

Office Manager/Accountant Worked for this real estate and land appraiser in their multi-state operations office. Learned and implemented tax laws for the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island; the legal aspects of land acquisition; valuation of property; preparation and utilization of Federal forms and specifications and documentation; real estate transactions. Elected and served as Treasurer of the corporation. Worked directly for the President of the corporation who was the President of the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers.

River Rafted through the Grand Canyon in a four man raft for 15 days when I was 60 years old.
Drove on the frozen Kuskowim River to visit Eskimos housing sites.
In Israel was escorted by armored vehicles between site visits.
Traveled to over 30 countries and met many people.
Married for 41 years and still in love with the same guy (if that’s an accomplishment), two kids
Lived to be 70 years old and that took some doing.
Learned to be patient, caring, and a good listener. Maintained a good sense of humor.
