After graduation I joined the Navy to see the world. After six years I had made it through the nuclear education pipeline, become a reactor operator, built and commissioned CVN 73 USS George Washington. But I never made it to another country. Just before the first Mediterranean cruise was to start I met my wife Gina, in a country bar - I still don't really like the music but had heard the girls are pretty nice. From the moment I met Gina I never wanted to be apart so I left the Navy.
Deciding I should grow up I earned a BSEE from Old Dominion University in Virgina.
To help pay for school I joined the Navy Reserve which took me to some Caribbean islands (travel at last!) and am still serving with NIOC Norfolk. I also took a job coding the control software for the SABER instrument on the TIMED satellite. After the satellite launch I was hired by NASA Langley and I now code simulations, design new simulators and computer networks, and write IT security plans for spacecraft support systems.
My toughest and most rewarding job yet has been keeping up with our three wonderful kids - Joseph, Brian, and Susan.
Thanks to them I am a Cubmaster and future Brownie leader.
I look forward to seeing you all at our reunion. Drop me an email any time! ;)

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
