There is a mutli class reunion May 12th at Forest Lodge. Please check Facebook or the high scool Alumni web-site for more information
Kent, I'm Sue Cole Tucker, class of 71, married to Roger Tucker, your class, if you still have a facebook page or communication for you class, could you copy this on your page and promote it? If you have contact info for any other class organizers, could you get me their contact info? Thanks!
Hey Everybody - Now's your chance! What special WHRHS graduate or teacher/staff would you want to nominate for the WHRHS Hall of Fame? The deadline for nominations is Feb. 3 and we only do this every few years, so please see the WHRHS web page, download the application and fill it out to the best of your ability, and submit right away!!
Many schools only recognize athletes, but the WHRHS Hall of Fame recognizes artists, musicians, writers, scientists, community activists, pumpkin carvers and athletes who've had noteworthy achievements during or since high school (We even have a Nobel Prize winner!!) Nominees have to have graduated at least 10 years ago, teacher and staff nominees need to be retired, not currently working in the school.
We have a lovely reception in the spring for those selected and a plaque in the front hall of the school, to recognize their achievements and inspire current students.
But they can only be selected if someone nominates them - can that someone be you? Feel free to contact me with questions - [email protected] Thank You! -Sue Tucker

Today's Featured Biography
William Seader
After graduating from WHRS I entered the military and spend three years on active duty at Camp Pendetion Ca, then Vietnam 1/9 Delta 3rd Third Marine Division, and lastly Okinawa before being discharged in June of 1970. While stationed in Okinawa I was part of a Battalion Landing Team (BLT) that traveled to the Philippine Islands, Singapor and Honk Kong and crossed the equator and participated in King Neptune's Court. As much as I would like to go into greater details about these wondrous far off exotic places, I have to be mindful and remind to myself that I writing to mixed company, but they were the best and the worst of times!
I went to work for New Jersey Bell in June of 1970 as an outside plant lineman and I really enjoyed my job. I was outside, every day was something different and it was fun! Life was good for me as a young man. I took advantage of the GI benefits that I had earned and went to night school for nine years while working full time during the day and eventually earned a BSBA. I was shortly there after promoted to Plant Engineer assigned to Central New Jersey. During the ensuing years I held numerous engineering and managerial positions and was transferred three times before retiring from Verizon in November 2004 with 34 years of service as a District Manger.
I married Beverley Brown who was originaly from Montreal Canada and we have four grown children and seven grand children who are all doing well. Bev and I because of my wife's large Canadain family, have had the opportunity to travel across Canada from as far east as Prince Edward Island, moving west to Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto,Vancouer and as far west as Vancouer Island. We are both enjoying our retirement years while living here in beautiful Carmel New York. We have also traveled here in the US and have visited 40 states to date including Alaska and Hawaiian Islands. For hobbies we both like to read, ski, garden, travel and Ballroom Dance. I am a model railroader and also make home made wine as my own personal hobbies.
I hope to see as many of you as possible this summer at our 60th birthday party and I would also like to wish all of you, All the Best and Good Health.
It was really great to see all of you this past summer and almost all of you I could recogize with out looking at your year book name tags. I must admit that there more than a few confused looks from others when I covered my name tag and said that I was someone else! I had alot of fun doing that routine and the confused looks were priceless. Perhaps though, the joke was really on me as I had to reintroduce myself to each of you as almost no one knew who I was!
My lovely bride Beverley and I are planning to move out to the west coast this summer to be closer to four of our nine grandchildren and I do not think that we will be able to attend this coming September event. Our attendance in September will depend on the depressed housing market here in New York.
I was greatly sadden to learn of Joe Erio's pasting, he was a stand up guy who was solid and so very grounded. I for one am glad that I had known him and could say that he was my friend and I will miss him! Rest in Peace my Old Friend.
Bill

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
