Today's Featured Biography
Jon Ferguson
Spent a total of 12 yrs in the US Navy, where I earned two degrees (Bachelors in Mechanical and Electical Engineering). Recieved two Good Conduct awards and two Honorable Discharges.
Afterwards I worked for the Job Corp teaching Building Maintinance Class. During this time I also started a business, General Building Contractor. Was in business for 8 yrs, but always felt I was not doing what I was suppose to do. So I went back to school and got my BSN.
Now I work as an Registered Nurse in a local hospital here in San Diego. I have been married twice, the first marriage was for almost 5 yrs and produced 2 children, a boy and a girl. The second marriage, which has lasted now for 21 yrs, brought me my soul mate, the most perfect partner a man could ever want. Her name is Debbie and she is my life.
My oldest child, Jon III, who is 32,married at 27 and has given me two grandchidren, Sierra and Jon IV. My youngest, Sarah, married right out of High School and has given me my first two granddaughters, Emily and Ashly. All in all my life has turned out better than I expected.
