It's been amazing to look at our class list and read the bios. I was startled to see myself listed as "missing," but that serves me right for not keeping in better touch with my fellow classmates!
It's hard to admit high school graduation was 20 years ago. Makes me feel OLD OLD OLD. But I feel blessed that I can say it's been a really nice 20 years. I went to UNL and got my degree in journalism in 1992. I spent a little time in Des Moines, Iowa, several years in Huntington, W.Va., then six years in Nashville, where I worked as a reporter for The Tennessean. After my husband (Steve Hartmann of Hooper (Logan View class of 1986)) finished up school there, we moved to Colorado, near Boulder. We have two lovely daughters, Delaney and Teagan. I continue to write, but on a freelance basis so I can stay home with my daughters. I am launching my own communications business, as well.
I hope I can make it back for the reunion. Thank you, organizers, for all your hard work.
