From RHS I went to Guilford College in Greensboro. I double majored in Psychology and Economics.
I met and married Susan Kenoyer from Bryn Mar, Pennsylvania in 1961. Susan worked to support us while I finished college. I graduated in 1963.
Susan completed her degree in Sociology at NC State University in 1975.
I earned a masters degree from NC A&T State University in Adult Education in 1992.
I spent five years in the Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer living in Texas, Illinois, New Jersey and the Azores.
Between 1969 and 2004 I worked in many different career fields until finding a comfortable fit in the area of adult education. My secondary career field was Information Technology.
Susan and I retired to Wilkesboro and built an energy star home in 2005. We like living on the W. Kerr Scott Reservoir fed by the Yadkin River.
I take care of the family farm in Rockingham County with rental homes and timber. I would like to sell it. My four sisters are doing well in Reidsville (Lynda Mae), Greensboro (Sandra), Hillsborough (Sue) and Winston-Salem (Lisa Jo).
Susan and I like to take trips in our Minnie Winnie RV to visit our three children and eight grandchildren. We visited Big Bend in Texas. Last year we joined a caravan of 24 RV's in Idaho and drove to Alaska and back, a total of 13,000 miles from May to September.
Gardening is what's occupying my time now. In addition to my home garden I support two community garden locations...the Wilkes Community College Community Garden and Cub Creek Community Garden.
Susan and I celebrated our 53rd wedding Anniversary on May 27.
I enjoy grandchildren, woodworking, gardening, boating, swimming, kayaking and bicycle riding. Susan likes Kayaking , knitting, Yoga, and eating vegan (no meat or dairy products).
Susan is a "birth-right" Quaker and I have become a "convinced" Quaker. We belong to New Garden Friends Meeting in Greensboro and attend the Wilkes County Friends Meeting.
In my life, I have been registered as both a Republican and as a Democrat. Can't say much for either.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
