Today's Featured Biography
Carol Pool Sadler
I got married in Mar 1978. Had son Matthew in 1979 while living in Indep, Justin was born in 1981 while living in Blue Springs. Times were tough, jobs hard to come by, so we moved to north Texas, where Krista was born in 1983. Time moved on and we moved back to Ozark MO in 1987, mostly because Mike had decided he wanted to live in the Ozarks. But jobs were still short and pay was very low. Somewhere he got the idea he wanted to work in Corrections- after 2 yrs trying to get in, he finally got hired and we moved to Boonville, Mo. After about 6mths, he decided he didn't like it! But, I had enrolled in LPN school, so I was staying. Long story short, by Christmas I decided I had had enough of Mike. I later remarried I guy I went to LPN school with, Don Sadler. We've been married 17yrs now, live out in the country between Marshall, Sedalia and Boonville Mo on about 5 acres. Between us we have 7 kids and 9 grandkids! But the only 1 at home anymore is my Mom, who has lived with us for 5 yrs now. And wince we don't have any kids at home, we have a houseful of pets: 3 dogs- a little fur ball(Cindy Lou Who), a black Lab (Hollie)and a GreatPyrenes (TuckerBerry Hound)! Now THAT'S a dog! 2 cats, that think they are Snowball and Ivan, a ferret, BoJangels, and 3 red eared slider turtles! Then outside, we have chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, a PeaCock, 2 goats and a horse. All because the kids grew up and left us alone! hehe
