Karen Dockery Evans

In 1976 I married Scot Evans who graduated from Hazelwood Central in 1975. We have three daughters, Nicole 29 has 2 boys ages 1 and 7. She is a hairdresser. Melissa has a son 2 and a daughter age 1, she is a middle school English teacher. Victoria age 11 is going into middle school. My husband Scot, is vice president of a company called Kennedy Tank in Indianapolis. We have lived in Indiana for about 20 years. I work for a builder and decorate their model homes. Ironically his wife is from Florrisant and took dance for years at my mother in law's dance studio in Florrisant. (Small world!) I have had an interior design business for the past 18 years. A friend and I went into business and have stayed busy ever since. I also do display windows for a furniture store and sell furniture there. I teach a fitness class twice a week. It sounds like I am really busy, but I do all of this part time. I also love being a Mom and Grandma. (They call me Nana!) Scot and I will be married 30 years in November and are planning a big trip. We are thinking Europe but have not booked anything yet. We feel getting married so young and still being together is quite an accomplishment! We owe much of our success and happiness to changing the life-styles we had in high school and letting Christ be the center of our life. I by no means am perfect, but I am so glad I did not continue on the road I was traveling 30 years ago. I am relly looking forward to this reunion. I have not seen anyone since the 5 year reunion.
