I have been married to my great wife, Kathie, for thirty one years. We have been blessed with four sons, two daughter-in-laws and one grand daughter, Alaina Marie born six weeks ago. Ryan (Pam) live in Sioux Falls, SD where Ryan is a Physician Assistant and enjoys the patients and surgeries at Orthopedic Consultants. Rob is a graduate student at the University of North Dakota - geothermal energy. Andy (Samantha) recently graduated from Michigan Tech University with a Civil Engineering degree and is employed with Hormel, Inc. in Nebraska - he will continue with his masters. Jeff will be a fourth year geology major this Fall at UMD in Duluth.
I received my call to the ministry within a year of graduating from John Marshall. I graduated from Bemidji State with a degree in Biology and Business Administration and Chemistry minor. After working for a few years in Saint Paul I attended seminary and took my first parish in Northern Michigan. After six years we moved to South Dakota and this has been home for twenty one years serving two rural congregations. Through the years the congregations have become our family, sharing blessings and heartaches.
Life has been great in the country - raising not only our sons but rabbits, sheep, Beni, our llama, and currently Pudge, our English Springer, and Max and Rudy, our Gordon Setters - my bird dogs. The pheasnat hunting is fantastic!
Most of us as clergy set no retiremnet dates but a lake lot on Lake Superior waits our return to the Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan. Isle Royale National Park will be on the waters horizon and the freighters coming from and to Duluth/Superior will be seen. Looking forward to everything the forest has to offer - the area receives about 300 inches of lake effect snow each winter.
I trust the Lord has blessed each of you in your years since graduation. Blessed be the memory of our classmates that have passed away.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
