Today's Featured Biography
Marceline Saims Schneider
I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. One month later I said, "Adios" to Michigan and "Hola" to Arizona after accepting a position with IBM's General Products Division in Tucson. And I embarked on a lifetime of adventure...
As a Junior Auditor, I audited IBM consignment suppliers across the United States. I had the opportunity to mix business with pleasure while visiting companies throughout the USA.
I held multiple positions during my tenure with IBM, resulting in relocations to California and New York, but returning to the desert of the American southwest where I continue to live. Now in Oro Valley, Arizona.
I met my husband at IBM. He's a good guy from Indiana. We married and increased the male population by having three sons, including a set of identical twins. Those "boys" are the greatest accomplishment of my life. And they are enormously happy. (Which makes Andy and me VERY happy, too.)
Sharing my time, talent, and treasure with others is the focus of my life in retirement. I participate in community service events, volunteer at college fairs for the University of Notre Dame, and assist women is realizing their academic dreams as a local Project Chair for the Philanthropic Educational Organization.
Entertaining, the great outdoors, the gym, concerts, sporting events, travel, and my family & friends complete my life.
And speaking of friends, I am so excited to see my longtime friends, Kathy Fleming, Judy Kaines, Mary O'Connor, and Mary Anne Taylor. I am also looking forward to seeing all my classmates from the Benny Class of 1975.
