Today's Featured Biography
ELIZABETH ANGLIN
February 2009
I moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music in 1985. While there I worked for a political and environmental lobbying organization called "Share" and found I had more interest in Environmental Policy issues than music. I switched majors to Environmental Geography and spent several years working at the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, The Sierra Club and Greenpeace. I also did some research through the Center for Psychology and Social Change at Harvard, and through contacts there learned quite a bit about Tibetan Buddhism, Shamanism, and Transpersonal Psychology. Most of my 30's were spent working at MIT as an administrative assistant and grants manager. I really enjoyed the experience of being part of research teams, and the very social nature of research science. Much of my job involved planning conferences, workshops, professional training courses and symposia, and inviting scientists from all over the world to visit. I was a glorified editor, party planner, hostess and academic advisor. A fall from an ex-racehorse I was retraining required that I move better weather than New England offered, so I moved to the west and worked for several years as an academic advisor at The University of New Mexico.
Currently I am writing a book and a screenplay, while I advise my own clients. I live on a small ranch outside of Telluride, Colorado on Horsefly Mesa. My family consists Otto and TNT - two ex-racehorses, Wyatt - a Tibetan Mastiff, Kiko - a Black Lab, Bella and Oreo - two kitties, and my business partner Rob.
Elk, Bald and Golden Eagles grace the ranch and surroundings every day. The mule deer have moved down to lower elevations for the winter, and have been replaced by beautiful white snowshoe hares.
I've posted some pictures of our neighborhood. Enjoy!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
