After graduation, I worked at Pete's for a little while. Then I joined the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. I was stationed in Pensacola, and few other places on East Coast. I met my ex-husband and we had my beautiful daughters who are now 17 & 15, OUCH! By the time I was 25, I moved home to Lafayette as a single mom. I waited tables for about 6 years & went to USL for my nursing degree. During college, I had another baby, & another failed relationship. That left me with my son, who is now 8 & is soccer star!!! I pretty much gave up on love for a LONG TIME! I decide to work hard, get through school, get a good job, house, car. You get the picture. Then after working at LGMC for a few years I met my now husband of 8 months. William Bishop is his name, I totally robbed the cradle. He used to live across the street from me in Avie's Knoll subdivision. He is 8 & 1/2 years my junior. He a super guy, he love God, me 7 my children. He is currently in the process of adopting my son!!! See ya'll at the Reunion! I hope this finds you all Blessed!!!
