Today's Featured Biography
Juleen Bailey Henderson
I was born June 19, 1963, at Starke Memorial Hospital in Knox, Indiana, the oldest of four children. I lived in Bass Lake and attended K-4 at California Township School.
I started 5th grade at the old Winamac Elementary School and remember our teachers were Mr. Hiatt, Mr. Ulm, Mrs. Baker, and Mr. Reinholt. I remember going down the emergency slide in Mrs. Baker's room and doing crossing patrol with Doug Grostefon. I also remember watching the demolition of the school.
Middle and High School were filled with numerous activities: Band, Sunshine Society, Volleyball, Girls' and Boys' Basketball, Football, slumber parties, and dating.
After graduation, I attended Indiana Central University (now the University of Indianapolis) and earned an Associate's Degree in Nursing. I worked part-time at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove while working on my Bachelor's Degree. I worked there full time until 1986, when I married Ron Fox.
We moved to Munster, Indiana, and I worked full time at St. Margaret Hospital until our son, Taylor, was born in May 1990. I then worked part-time there until our daughter, Jessica, was born in January 1994. We then moved to Francesville, Indiana, and I worked weekends at Pulaski Memorial Hospital for a few years.
I then went to work at White County Memorial Hospital in Monticello. I worked there for a few years while we were building a home in Star City before returning to Pulaski Memorial Hospital as the Director of Surgical Services. I resigned from that position in 2004. As a new bride and busy mother, there weren't enough hours in the day!
I currently stay at home and enjoy spending time with my husband and children. Taylor is a junior at WCHS. He is very active in basketball. Jessica is an 8th grader at WCMS and is excited to be a cheerleader! She is active in Girl Scouts, 4-H, and school activities. My husband, Paul, is a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) and part owner of Great Lakes Anesthesia. We met while working together at Pulaski Memorial Hospital. We married in 2004.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and traveling. I also enjoy going to WCMS/WCHS for my children's sporting events. I hope to see some of you there!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
