Degrees include: B.S. in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and M.B.A. in Marketing/Finance from Northwestern University. Married Anita Knuth (St. Patrick Academy-1961 & NIU-1965). We have two children and three grandchildren. I retired in 2006. After raising our children in Arlington Heights, we moved to our summer home in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. We enjoy the Geneva Lake lifestyle, plus we are active in our church and other volunteer pursuits. I have been known to play a round or two of golf.
My career began at Price Waterhouse & Company; then, seven years as CFO of an Advertising firm. With a partner, I started my own advertising business in 1974. For the next 32 years, we created and produced advertisements and catalogs for leading direct mail companies across the country.
