Today's Featured Biography
Daniel Hidalgo
Hey! Everybody
It is hard to belive that 20 years have gone by already.
I am living in Teton, Idaho. (a little north of Rexburg)
After graduation I attended ISU for a year and a half. It was a great experience and so was car pooling with Dave German, Miguel Madrigal, and Steve Fulmer. (We learned how to drive fast and avoid state troopers.) Then I transferred to Boise State, and continued my education off and on until I finished in spring of 1996. I graduated with a B.A. in General Art and started working as a designer for The Bon Marche'. I worked my way up to a regional manager position and coordinated with the visual managers for 14 stores. Although I enjoyed my work and the challenges, I was on the road a lot and didn't have time to produce any art work for myself. I then moved back to Eastern Idaho and started working for Wild West Designs, as a visual consultant and sales Rep. While working in Idaho Falls John Hoobler informed me that Victor Bruha (class of 88) had moved to Blackfoot and wanted to see me. When we got together it was a strange melting of the minds and we started a paper art company called Dung and Dunger. At present I work at a Triple C Cabinets, in Teton, part time and design my own custom furniture the rest of the time. Victor and I still make the art paper and sell it in Yellowstone Park.
I have kept active over the years by working part time in the summer as a white water river guide and mountain biking. In the summer of 1996 I road my bicycle across country coast to coast. I also stayed competitive and raced mountain bikes and in 2005 won the state championship in the 30-40 year old bracket.
For the last 20 years, I have been trying to have as much fun as I can. It was brought to my attention that my intetests were not listed in priority. So,my personal interests include but are not limited to; Drinking beer
mountainbiking, motorcylces, hiking, camping hunting, fishing, art, white water rafting, armchair quarterbacking, and drinking beer.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
