I am very glad to be able to even have the chance to get here and see my fellow classmates again. For some of us it has been a long time coming and we can't wait for that time to come. I am a very busy Mommy here in Albany I have 3 beautiful children that i adore so so very much. So that is what most of my 10 years consist of. My daughter Sierra was the one who gracious decided that she would walk across the stage with me on graduation so she thinks that this is her class reunion as well.My son's name is Jordyn he is 3 years old and my daughter's name is Khalia and she is 8mths old. I am a full time student at Albany Technical College and by the time we have our reunion I should have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.I am currently employed as a Case Worker in The South Georgia Change Center. I am a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Magnolia Chapter #411 P.H.A.,The Royal Chinary T. Laster Court No.6 Cyrene Crusaders, Girl Scout Troop leader,Praise Dance Coordinator at my church and also Youth Choir Director at my church(Third Kiokee). I am so very blessed and highly favored in the Lord to still be friends with some of the people that I came in contact with while roaming the halls of MCHS. The DIVAS that are still close to me are Dallori Simon Griffin and Melissa Devine Walker we have really seen our friendships grow over 10 years that really just slipped right on by. It took things like college life and just growing up to make our friendships so dear. I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon and lets all try to get the word out that the class of 1997 is coming back hard with venegance to let Albany know that only one class at Monroe High made it what it truly was a School of EXCELLENCE. Miss Monroe Loves You LOTS!!!! XOXOXOXOXO
