James Conway
40th reunion update:
WOW...is it really 40 years...where did it go??? Those fond memories of football season, Misquamicut, "Roby's" field, Mr. Young's English class, Vernon lanes, Crystal Lake parties...so long ago but yet still vivid in that they were some of the best years of our lives.
I still get up to Connecticut at least once a year to visit my two sisters, Maura in Avon and Rene in Canton as well as my brother, John who is the last hold-out, still in Vernon. My older sister, Ellen went to Madrid to study her junior year of college (1972) and ostensibly, never returned. Fortunately, she gets to the states at least once a year for a family visit and I try to get to Spain whenever possible.
Retired from the FBI this past year with 26 years of service. Enjoyed everyday and spent the last 5 years or so stationed overseas in U.S. Embassy's in a diplomatic position.
Opened my owe consulting firm and continue to teach and provide training both domestically and internationally.
In my spare time, I try to get to the gym 3-4 times a week to swim, play tennis and just work-out. I also enjoy music, cooking and can't get the travel bug out of me.
Staying quite busy right now but anticipate a drawdown in the next few years. Would love to write a book or two and spend summers on Cape Cod where my folks spent the last 20 or so years of their lives.
Lot's of great memories.
