Today's Featured Biography
Christy Williams Feldman
Well, it is hard to believe it has been 25 years since High School. Life moves so fast.
After Wasson I headed to UNC in Greeley and got my degree in Elementary Education. I came back to the Springs and have(amazingly enough)been teaching at Jefferson Elementary for 16 years. It really is strange to teach at the Elementary you went to as a child. The connnection has been very dear to my heart and I have loved my time there.
Somewhere in that 16 years I managed to snag a husband and have two kids and a dog- the all american family!- I also got an MA from UCCS and a black belt in karate (that one I know is really hard to believe).
Since the 20th reunion, I have worked as part of the core team that opened a brand new elementary school in the Springs. It was a great experience! I taught there for three years and then headed back into the Wasson area to Edison Elementary. I am out of the classroom working as an instructional coach, testing coordinator and RtI facillitator. I LOVE my job!!
