Today's Featured Biography
Jeff Mason
I met Diana Fee (DV Class of '79) while in my senior year at DV. We started dating about halfway through the year. Early dates were Journey at the Rheem Theater, my Senior Ball, and the Day on the Green with Steve Miller, Heart, and the Eagles.
I went to UC Davis after Del Valle and graduated with a double major in Economics and History. After graduating from Davis in 1981, I proposed to Diana and we went on a 10k mile road trip across the US in my 1970 Datsun 240Z (no AC). Her Mom was one of 13 and my Mom was one of 11, so we had many relatives to visit along the way in addition to seeing the sites. We got married in the summer of 1982 and just celebrated our 44th!
We have two sons: Scott (40) and Garrett (38). Scott & Raquel have been married since 2014 and have a son and daughter. Garrett & Grace have been married since 2015 and have a daughter. Diana and I are very proud grandparents of 3 between the ages of 3 and 7!
While I still work, I have slowed my work schedule way down. I love my time with the grandkids and Diana and I do some traveling. I try and stay in shape by going to Orange Theory exercise classes (HIIT). I still love to do big adventures and recent treks include Kalalau Trail on Kauai, R2R2R in the Grand Cyn, Haleakala Summit to Sea on Maui, and Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
