PHOTO ABOVE TOM AND PUJI COSPLAY ( JAPANESE GAME ) IN VEGAS A FEW YEARS AGO
Lets see half a lifetime ( I wish ) in 250 words? Ill go by decades;
50s spent growing up in Inglewood
. 60s in Vista for High School and Long Beach for college ( Cultural Anthropology and Social Psychology ). Last job working for someone else was selling ice cream on commission from a Mel-O-Dee truck in Compton in 67 - 68 - nothing better than giving out cool treats to children on hot summer days - - - then getting married way too early.
70s spent in counter culture making candles dont remember much else??? OOhh Yeah, going to Mexico a lot. Six years in the National Guard. Raising a daughter, Selena who now thrives in San Francisco, and a son, Julian who is happy to be in Vista and working in technology at Viasat in Carlsbad-
80s moved to making money in real estate investment; civic involvement and dabbling in politics ( Vista Redevelopment campaign ) in Vista and North County - - -
Retired in 1990 and spent time involved in traveling, arts and music promotion ( Jazz at the Adobe Rancho Buena Vista ) and relaxing. Transition from sex, drugs and rock n roll in 70s to wine women and song in 90s was effortless. Have visited much of central and southern Europe, central America, Hong Kong, SE Asia, a bit of north Africa etc. - - - Visited Indonesia in 99 with my daughter and have stayed the last 17 years. is there a prize for having traveled the farthest to attend the reunion?
My wife, Gusti Ayu Putu Puji Astiti and son Adi, and myself design, produce and sell furniture and found cultural design elements internationally - - - also tribal arts when we come across high quality originals. Donna Karan spent about 4-5 hours in our shop last month - - - two weeks later we shipped about 75 items to her new Urban Zen store opening soon in West Hollywood.
We live on Bali, a Hindu beach resort island, part of the largest Muslim country in the World, so when we travel, we usually go to big cities like New York, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or cool places like New Orleans, S.F. or Vegas when in the U.S for the family Holidays.
Last year we visited Istanbul and left shortly before the bombings started wonderful city with great combination of cultural influences - - - fascinated by the beauty, mystery and complexity of the people of the World- - - guess thats why I like Bali people from ALL other the World gather here come visit happy to be your host!!!
All in all, I have to believe I have lived a charmed life. Supportive parents, great kids and four grandchildren to carry on. Many reinventions so far along the way and hopefully more surprises yet to come.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
