Starting from here, looking back. Well, Chris and I celebrated our 40th anniversary this year. I still love her today, as I did when I met her. Yes, lucky. That's kind of a theme for my life. Most people I graduated with, probably would not even remember me. If they did, I can only imagine what they would remember. The kid that through the news papers? Worked in the gas station? Worked at the Mexican Villa? Maybe they'd only remember, the "bad boy" things. Yah, I was a wild'n. At this stage of my life, it doesn't pay to stay in the past too long. Just like everyone, I've had some very low spots, and some very high stops, and all of them are what it took to get me to this place in life. I'm pretty satisfied. I own my past, I know were I stand now, and I look forward to the future. I am loved by my family and friends, and that is the most important thing to me, and I hope the "kids of 69", can say the same thing. I worked all my life, as a machinist, carpenter, power plant operator, and warehouseman, then retired at fifty-six. I haven't attended any of the reunions, and as I look at the class directory, it saddens me to think that I will never talk to some of my old friends again, in this life. Life's tough, but if you take it with a smile, it makes it a heck of a lot easier. "I'm still here God", and I'm still smile'n! To the class of 1969, may you see the Beauty, all around you!
