I have had a long and varied writing career. I wrote a humor column for the L.A. Times and was the first movie critic for Los Angeles magazine.
On a freelance basis, I have written for the NY Times, TV Guide, Emmy, Holiday, the Washington Times, Modern Maturity and Sports Illustrated.
For TV, in addition to several award-winning movies, I have written episodes of Dragnet, McMillan & Wife, Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, MASH, Bob Newhart, Family Ties, Dr. Quinn and Diagnosis Murder.
I am the author of three books of political commentary, "Conservatives Are From Mars, Liberals Are From San Francisco," "Liberals: America's Termites" and "Barack Obama, You're Fired."
I am a regular contributor to the Patriot Post and WorldNetDaily, and write regularly for subscribers to my political commentary.
I have also compiled three collections of interviews, "The Secret of Their Success" and "Portraits of Success," which included such notable subjects as Gerald Ford, Billy Wilder, Ginger Rogers, Henry Mancini, Sid Caesar, Dinah Shore, Steve Allen, Gene Kelly, Art Linkletter, Norman Lear, George Carlin, Randy Newman, Jack Lemmon, Jean Stapleton, Ed Asner, William Peter Blatty, Gary Sinise, Pat Boone and Charles Krauthammer.
The third collection,"67 Conservatives You Should Meet Before You Die," includes Pat Sajak, Joe Wambaugh, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt, Pat Robertson, Kellyanne Conway, Andrew Breitbart, Ben Shapiro, Harry Stein, Tucker Carlson, Phyllis Shlafly, John Bolton, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Paul Ryan.
I have two books due out in January, 2017. One is "Angels on Tap," which served as the basis for a movie currently in post-production that I wrote and co-produced. The other is a memoir which deals with those times when my life intersected with that of those celebrities I interviewed, worked with and/or befriended.
I live in the San Fernando Valley with my wife, Yvonne, and my dog, Angel.
