Today's Featured Biography
Mary Rondone Williamson
We moved to Ferndale Washington in 2004 when my husband's job brought him to Bellingham. I had worked for the same company for 28 years (and commuted 124 miles each day), and was ready for a break. After a year off, I returned to work part time. I'm working 2 or 3 days a week, and love it.
We have a daughter, Kylie, who is a freshman at Ferndale High School. She plays volleyball and softball for the school. She also plays on a tournament fastpitch team.
Our home is just 7 miles from the coast, and we enjoy crabbing in the summer. The rest of our weekends are busy with sports or working around the house and yard.
Ferndale is a great community with a true small town feel. We even have a Main Street! The whole town turns out to support our football team. I can't imagine living in a better place!
