Jeff Dominge

After Carlmont, I attended UCSB for 4.5 years returning after college to the Bay Area. I actually ended up working with Marlin Scott for a while at Cellular One at my first real job!

After a few years in corporate America, I decided to travel and took a position in Washington, DC. I never knew how sheltered we Californians were until my first summer away in super-humid DC. While living in Northern Virginia, I was sharing an apartment with Keith Blake for more than a year.

From DC I moved to Chicago and they took a job in Romania. For as crazy as I must have made Mr. Menedez in our Spanish classes, I have him to thank for understanding Romanian right away. His grammar lessons came in very handy when ordering a McDonald's hamburger and paying for it.

After Romania, I worked in other parts of Europe returning to the Bay Area for some R&R. Off-and-on since 2001 I've been in Chicago with stops in Mexico, Taiwan, and Los Angeles.

My brother was married in 2002 so now I have two lovely neices. No children of my own yet though. I'm "saving" myself for marriage!

I look forward to catching up with everyone and hearing about your adventures. I see Carlmont today with the pristine fields, clean buildings, and new signs. A little bit different from when we were there. But at least Kim Bassinger made a movie about our alma mater in the "old days".
