I married John Farran in Bisbee in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 1970. Three months later, John deployed for Vietnam. Upon his return to the states and completion of his military service, we located to Silver City, NM and John began his 38 year career with Phelps Dodge/FMI. Except for a year in Morenci and 2 1/2 years in Chile, S. A., we lived in Silver. Our two sons were born and raised and graduated from S.H.S. in Silver City. In 2000, John accepted a position in Miami, Az as Mine Maintenance Superintendent, and I retired from a 20 plus career as a Radiologic Technologist. We bought a small retirement home in Roosevelt Lake, Az. Our sons and grandchildren eventually migrated to Phoenix metro area.... they are only two hours away! We have four grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great-grandson! In 2009, John reitred from FMI. He continues to write, produce, and sing his songs in his studio at home. He already has four CD's! We enjoy fishing and water sports with the kids on the late. We appreciate everyday we spend with them,our friends, and especially... each other. We're still in Roosevelt!! Come and see us!
