I graduated from SAU-Tech in 1979 with an Associates degree in electro-mechanical technology. I went to work for General Dynamics as a test tecnician then moved up to a calibration tech. I ended up as a standards laboratory engineer. I have worked for Carrier and Klipsch as engineering technician at both places. I am currently employed by Raytheon as the calibration laboratory supervisor.
I married my beautiful wife, Penny in 1980 and we have 2 lovely girls, Jessica and Melissa. I am very proud of my family, the fact that Penny and I are still together after 28 years is great and then there are my girls. Jessica received a complete scholarship to Hendrix and she spent her study abroud semester in Oxford,England. She has now been accepted into the Chicago Theological Seminary for her graduate work. She wants to be a college professor. Melissa attended ASMSA in Hot Springs and graduated on the weekend of the reunion. (I did not attend the reunion.) She is attendlng the Savanna College of Art and Design(SCAD) in Georgia. She is very talented as an Artist. I will be posting some of her work in the near future.
I still enjoy playing the drums and get to once in a while. When I'm not working, I am hunting, fishing, working at the church, or going on trips with my family. I loved the Ozarks until I went to the Smokies. I plan to move there someday after the girls get out of college. Life is short, so don't forget to "stop and smell the roses" every chance you get.
