Today's Featured Biography
Kayla Montgomery Ernhart
I married right out of High School, New Year's Eve of '82, to Wayne Ernhart. He was from Gravel Ridge, Class of '81 North Pulaski. We met while we both worked at Woolco (where Target is now), remember those days...lol when The Wizard, Coneyland, and the Theater were in that shopping center. Awww the good old days. Spent many a lunch break playing arcade games, lol. He joined the Navy about 6 months before we married, and we moved to Pensacola, FL the next day after the wedding. Was there for 8 months and then got stationed in South Carolina for the next 5 years. Where we made many good friends. Had daughter Kristen in Aug of 1985, and daughter Kacey in Feb of 1988. Moved back to North Little Rock, right after Kacey's birth.
We spent alot of our free time in those days at the ballfields. All 4 of us played softball over the years, and at one point all in the same season at different parks, racked up the miles in those days (good thing gas prices weren't like they are today). Any of you old softball teammates out there, I would love to get back in touch with you. Wanna start another team...LOL I would love to get back into playing some again.
We moved to Cabot in 1998. We divorced in 2001, but remain on friendly terms. I have never remarried, but Wayne remarried May of 2008, right after the grandbabies were born. Kristen married a couple weeks later. We had alot of changes in the family in those few weeks.
I am still in Cabot, and I like it out here. I miss my girls being here with me, both of them have moved back to North Little Rock. Kacey just graduated from The Salon Professional Academy last month, and Kristen will be graduating from UALR in May with her Bachlor's Degree in Marketing and Advertising (anyone need a good employee? LOL I have two very talented girls who need work... Hairdresser? Public Relations Dept? Anybody?) Kristen has also been working with me and mom, at the wrecker lot for the past few years while going to school. Is nice to get paid to spend the day with family. They both also sell Aloette skin care products, if anyone wants to have a party let me know.
I bowl on Tuesday nights here in Cabot in a mixed league, which is fun and about my only socializing these days. I really need to get out more...LOL (Anyone need a shopping partner, dinner date, friend to hang out with?) Seems like all of my closest friends growing up all moved away and left me behind. I do still get to spend time with Vickki (Stane)Carroll occasionally, she moved to Monette. We talk almost daily, sure miss her being around close by. Get to see Michael Ann (Dumond) Galloway, when she gets to come to town, not nearly often enough though, she is living in the Dallas area. I lost touch with Debra (Parchman) Utley a few years back. Last I heard she was in Conway. I really look forward to reconnecting with some of you guys again. It is fun to see what everyone is doing these days, and the families we have sprouted, and where life has taken us. Hope life has been treating everyone well. I have had no complaints, I have had a very good life. Good friends, close family, and special relationships. Contact me when you have time. Until then.......

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
