I have 2 children that I can't believe are 15 and 11 ugh...
I was divorced in 2006 and it has been a very strange 2 years not being married since I was married for 15 years! I have been in Dothan for 13 years now and I do like it here. I've thought it would be cool to have my kids grow up in Troy, but you gotta stay where you have a job. I miss Troy. I stay in touch with a bunch of you (Jane, Steve...)and several in other grad classes, namely my best buddy, Lynne Fowler Austin who lives in Collierville TN. It would have been tough to get through the last 2 years without her!! True friends do stay in touch and there is nothing I wouldn't do for my friends. I am so proud of Mike K. for keeping us in touch, and I am proud to be a part of the class of '79!!! Love you guys, can't wait for the 30th!!
The seasons are changing and so am I, I'm starting to tell my childhood goodbye. I'm not the little child I used to be, In some ways I'm different entirely. It's a little sad to see children play, To think I will never again be that way. Perhaps it is the future I fear, Fear of losing something of the past That is very dear. Unlike loved ones, time we cannot hold; We pass by a mirror and realize it has Made us old. It's just that the minutes, hours, and days Go by so fast. Yes, it seems just like yesterday That we were small, Then suddenly years come upon us And it doesn't seem like time at all. Trying so hard to keep up with today, Memories of good times fading away. Growing up is hard to do when you Want to enjoy life's moments which are so few. I might always be a child at heart And for me that will be much harder to part. The seasons are changing and so am I And I must begin to tell my childhood Goodbye.

" As an administrator of our Classreport website, I want to thank everyone that has made this valuable tool available to us. This is the 4th reunion that I have helped plan and by far this has been the most enjoyable one, thanks to the use and capabilities of this website. All our classmates love the site and it has helped to bring more of us together. When I looked around the room last night and saw everyone smiling as if we were in high school again, I knew that the website was key to making it all come together. It offered us the chance to catch up before we even got to meet up and made for an even more special time. We all look forward to continuing to utilize the Classreport site and will no doubt reconnect more often as a result."
