Richard was reared in Provo, UT, Linda in Idaho Falls, ID. We met at BYU soon after Richard returned home from his 2 1/2 year mission to New Zealand. We were married in August of “62” in the Idaho Falls Temple. We both graduated from BYU in “63”. Richard: Industrial Management & Linda: Human Development & Family Relationships. We moved to southern California in “65” for Richard’s (MBA) at USC. Richard’s career was in Executive Management with Southern California Gas Company.
In California, we lived in West LA, Lake Forest, Sacramento, Palos Verdes, and the last 22 years in Santa Barbara. We have both served in a variety of Church leadership positions and loved serving as couple missionaries 2006-07 at Historic Kirtland, Ohio. After our mission we moved to Provo in 2008. We have been blessed with 3 wonderful children (a daughter and two sons) & their spouses, who we claim as our own and 10 awesome grandchildren. We love, attending BYU football & basketball games, reading, theater, movies, serving in church callings, and vacationing at distance locations and at family cabins in Island Park,Idaho.
