55 Year Reunion Announcement!
55 Year Class Reunion
2019 - 11:00 am
High School Cafeteria
HERE IT COMES!! OUR 55 YEAR REUNION. Joe has talked to Brett Beesly, the principal of DHS and we have the cafeteria reserved on Saturday, June 15 from 11:00am to 10:00pm. We have just begun the planning phase for this reunion. Joe and I discussed just having a very plain, unencumbered reunion where we each have flexibility in what we do. I am too old and too tired to do things we used to do. Just sitting and visiting for the afternoon/evening will be about all I want to do. However, I think it would be nice to complete a booklet that gives everyone a chance to let others know their current address and other information. I will take care of that as I have a database already. I know we probably have some deaths that I wasn't aware of, so, if you know of someone, just shoot me an e-mail. I don't do Facebook or any other social media anymore so just e-mail if you have anything. MORE TO COME LATER. JERRIE
Well, here it is October 2 and 11:15 at night. I just finished watching our 45th reunion video and I am in tears. We really don't know what the future holds, but we can be a part of our fu

I see that George posted the news about Larry Collins. I haven't been to this site in a long time and I forgot I had to log in. George and Larry were golfing buddies in the 70's when they

12/5/2017 Dan Grider
I just found out about this. Dan passed away at his home in Ft. Collins, CO On August 6, 2017.
. . .
After a year or so at AC, I went to x-ray school @ St Anthony's and worked there and the Baptist Hospital before I took a position teaching radiography at AC. In 1978 I moved to Las Vegas; alone. I remained there working at Valley Hospital and was department head when I left in 1991 to go to Saudi Arabia. Two marriages came and went during those years, oh I almost forgot the first marriage that began in '66 and ended in '77 and the two children ( Meredith and Brandon) that resulted. Angela and I got married in Bahrain, in '91 and we returned to the US in 1996. During that time we had 60 days a year off so we traveled to many countries and got a real education. In 1996 we bought a truck and 5th wheel and just didn't go back to work. We traveled around the country for 8 years and finally settled in Spring Creek in '03.
Update: We moved to Henderson, in 2010, sold the condo in FL (never stayed the night in it). Still like to travel, tried some "fun" work at the Grand Canyon, during the summer of 2012, but wasn't much fun. I had knee surgery in Dec of '11. Waiting for a third surgery on the same knee 2/10/14.
We still like to play golf. When we buy a house, we like to make it our own so we remodel, tear down walls, redo the kitchen etc. We have been here 3 years and I am just starting the last room (we are not very fast) and I need to get it done before the surgery.
I am sorry that we will not be able to attend the 50th. We have made a commitment to host the Silver Strand State campground on Coronado Island for the month of June, but I will be there in spirit.
