36 Year Reunion Announcement!
Can you believe it has been 5 years since our last Reunion???? Where did the time go? So many of us are sooooooo busy with Children going to College or graduating, becoming grand parents, new jobs, kids, careers and homes, etc.......
The Committee has decided to postpone our 35th Reunion and do it RIGHT IN 2016. This will give us the time to plan, get ideas and make sure we can TRY to top our 30th (it will be hard, but we can!!)
Many of us are planning to get together in July and have some fun and meet ups, and then we can look at starting for next year.
Please keep up on this site and also on our Facebook page and that will give you the most up to date info.

I came to Mainland my sophomore year from all corners of the U.S. While I loved living in Linwood, I moved away after graduation. First the Pocono's (not a great place for a single 18-year-old, then Boston (my original hometown). But I was always a southern belle at heart, so I moved to Princeton, North Carolina in 1987, where I still am today. (Near Raleigh)
In high school, I refused to take typing. I was NOT going to be a secretary. Never say never. I became a great secretary! But when the company I was working with went bankrupt in the early 90's, I changed career paths. I started my Mary Kay Cosmetics business part-time, and worked part-time in retail -- primarily to meet people for my Mary Kay business! I found my niche! I am now a Co-Manager for Dress Barn, a ladies clothing store chain. I love it!
During my single years I travelled extensively around the U.S., Australia and a cruise to Mexico. I met my husband in 1993 and married in 1997. He passed away in April, 2010. I have a 24-year-old stepson. I enjoy boating, fishing, scrapbooking, reading, gardening, the beach and travelling.
I have a large family scattered all over the U.S. I have also been blessed with great friends from the different places I have lived. I am especially lucky to still be close with my best friends from Mainland, even though we live in different places. The internet and Facebook have just made it easier to keep in touch.
