Grady Leonard Pittman Jr

I graduated from North Carolina State University in 1981 and after a (very) brief stint in the restaurant business began a career in banking with Planters Bank in Rocky Mount. I spent 9 years with BB&T in the mid 80's and early 90's. Met my wife Julie (formerly Julie Nelson from Rocky Mount) in Wilson and we were married in 1990. I worked for several banks, all in Rocky Mount, up until September of 2005. In October of 2005 I moved to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, 30 miles west of Charlottesville. I work in Staunton but live in Fishersville. I am a Commercial Banker with First Bank & Trust Company

My family and I live within 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. It is a beautiful place, good quality of life, and good schools. I have a daughter Grace who is 21 and a junior at NC State.

My parents still live in Rocky Mount as do my wife's parents, her twin sister, and her older brother. My sister Alison (class of '79) lives in Lexington Va with her husband Greg (class of '78).

I'm looking forward to seeing you at the reunion!
