Hello everyone! Has it been almost 20 years already?
I graduated from American University for college, spent a few years working on Capitol Hill and then went to Law School at the University of Baltimore. I never really practiced law, but I have been working in government/legislative affairs and lobbying almost my whole career. During these years I lived and studied in Prague, Czech Republic for a time as well.
For many years I was a political consultant and managed numerous political and issue campaigns in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I also worked in government affairs for Comcast.
Just recently, I decided to give up the political consulting for a more regular job back in the cable world but still government related and I was appointed to be the Cable Administrator in Howard County, MD. Essentially I am in charge of making sure the cable companies live up to their obligations to the County and to customers!
I married in 1998 to Allen Flood and we have one daughter, Ava born in 2004. We love to travel, although we haven't done as much since Ava entered our lives!
That's the basic news - glad to see everyone doing so well. See you in 2009!
