After graduation I worked for the home office of Western Auto,that beautiful pie shaped building in Kansas City, now lofts I believe. I married in December 1973 and worked as a para-professional in special ed in the Marshall (MO) and Blue Springs school districts. The 80's became the diaper decade as four beautiful children followed in rapid succession! 1990 found me separated and subsequently divorced after 18 years of marriage. Armed with an 8,6,4,and 2 year old I began my studies at Longview and graduated with honors and transferred to CMSU to continue my studies. Major health issues sidelined me from finishing my degree. I vow to finish it one day. Raising the family took all my time and energy. Today they are all grown and on their own. I always tell them I don't know if they turned out as well as they did because of my influence or despite my influence! I like to think it's a bit of each! I continue to be amazed and proud of them and their accomplishments.
