Today's Featured Biography
Carolyn Miller Graft
Richard and I married in 1965 and had two daughters, Chris and Amy, and one son, Thomas.
Chris married Kent Mahnesmith in 1990. Chris is the Director of Therapy at Jasper Co. Hospital and Kent was an Attorney and they had one daughter, Sarah, 2001. They were married 21 years when he was killed in a four wheeler accident and left Chris alone with Sarah who was 9.
Amy married Doug Fuchs in 1994 and had 4 children, Jenna 1999, Nathan 2000, Megan 2001 and Anna 2002. Amy is a partner in Fort Wayne Pediatrics and Doug is a stay at home Dad and part-time builder and full time taxi driver for his four children.
Tom graduated from Boston University in 2008, the same year we retired. He lives in New York City and developes computer software. He has a lovely girlfriend of 5 years.
Richard and I make our home on Crooked Lake, Angola, Indiana for 6 months and Mesa, AZ for 6 months.
We are enjoying our grandchilren and enjoying our winters in warm weather. We play a new game called pickleball about 5 days a week (usapa.org) and still enjoy dancing, playing cards, eating out, and spending time with all our retired friends in Az. Richard also enjoys woodworking, the rock shop and the silversmith shop. We don't sit around much.
