Debbie and I were married right after graduation (September 8th, 1972) and Michelle was born on October 5th, 1976. She was our only child. She's a school teacher now at Clendenin, WV.
I am retired from the Wayne County Board Of Education. I was also elected to serve as State delegate in the West Virginia State Legislature. I was re-elected 2 more terms. I had to resigned right after winning the 2000 re-election because of a fall that left me immobile for a LONG time and I appointed Mark Ross to fill my 3rd term. I did quite a bit of damage to myself in the fall and since then I've gotten older and I guess the car wrecks (from my high school days with Brent Berry) are now catching up with me as well? LOL....
Debbie is still working and at this time it is for the largest land company in the U.S. (other than the Federal Govt.) where she now holds the position of supervisor. And knowing her, she'll work until she can't go anymore. She really likes her job (along with the pay & perks!!!) LOL....
Since I lost Brent I have changed some. Not as clownish and witty as before. I even dream of he and I and all our car wrecks and at times I see him die even he did die with a massive heart attack. I guess it's just because he's gone for good now? When he passed, a good portion of me died right along with him. God how I miss my friend!! It really does hurt........
Debbie and I have lived in Ohio now for right at 11 years and we like it quite well.
In our spare time and when my health allows, we like riding our new Harley Davidson Road King Classic motorcycle. She's one sexy looking "momma" with her dew-rag and boots, all laid back and flying down the road at 70 mph!!! LOL....
I really miss most of you and would love to have the time and opportunity to sit down and just catch up, ye know. That's about it for me except I now have 2 grand-daughters, (one is 2years old, and the other is 5 years old, both born in May.) I hope all of you will not only read profiles, but will put something here on the site in your profile as well. Later Y'all & God Bless.
