11/19/2008 Great 20 Year Reunion

Wow! What a long road it's been. I can't believe it's going to be 20 years already.
Life really started about a year after graduation. I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and spent four years stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas Nevada (the first 'a' is short). While there, I got married to my high school sweetheart (she was going to UW at the time) and we've been together ever since... coming up on 16 years of marriage and 20 years since we started dating. After separating from the Air Force, my wife and I moved back to Wisconsin, first living in Milwaukee for a couple of years then moving back to Madison for a better job opportunity. We've been here ever since. Ten years ago I found out what life was REALLY about... more on that later.
Since moving back to Madison I've worked at Bou-Matic as a welder, fabricator and purchasing agent, EMS Industrial as a manual machinist, enlisted with the WI Air National Guard after an eight year military hiatus, Jenkins Research & Mfg as a CNC machinist and programer, and, finally, being hired by the Wisconsin Air National Guard as a full-time Recruiter.
Over the last ten years life has been rich. My wife and I now attend Westwood Christian Church where I assist with Sunday morning music playing guitar and singing (at least that's what some people call it) and leading the Jr & Sr High Youth Group on Wednesday nights. Fortunately, it only took me 27 years to figure out what life was really all about...
I'm looking forward to meeting you all again at the reunion.
