I am happily married to a large family. Most of us do live in Spokane. My husband works for URM and is fairly happy there. MY daughter Mariah is a student in a local High School and is doing well. My Son Adam goes to a local grade school. Adam is diagnosed with having ADHD, ODD, Asperger syndrome and also as being BiPolar. We strive very hard with keeping a hard upper hand with him and we can use all the prayers and suggestions as poossible.
After High school I moved to Spokane and attended Spokane Community College, graduated with a AA Degree in Cosmetology. I worked for severaly years for different companies and soon opened my own shop in Valley Washington. A tiny little dot on the map. You all may recognize 49 Degrees North if you ski. I did really well until the time I was in a car accident and the Doctor advised me with no more. So I sold my shop and moved to Spokane and went back to school for Computer operations and worked for a couple years until I met my husband and soon started our family. I was in several more car accidents which prevented me from being able to do much of any job. Now I am on disability and I still try to work, but not every job that I am trained in I can work at anymore. So it makes it hard for me to find work that I can do.
With my sons disabilities it makes it hard for me to keep a job and to attend to him.
So I might take a few years off from a job search and take time out to do voluntary work at his school so that I can be close to him.
Mariah was a Cheerleader at a the local school that she attended and did very well. She enjoys many of the exiting trends as the other teenagers do. If you go to my slide show, when I finish it, you will see a picture of my daughter and if you remember what I looked like in high school, well I feel she is a picture of me. But of course much prettier than I ever was.
As a family we all try to do square dancing as my husband does a lot of dancing and did teaching for ballroom and line dancing. I enjoy it, but with suffering from FMS it makes it hard to do these added acivities.
We are settled into our own home and we are working on our house making it the way we want it to be.
This summer we finally finished the deck around our pool and jaquzzi. We finally put up a solar panel and the, well we still don't know what we want to call it yet, but many of our friends call it our changing room, the potty room, and some have even called it our phone boothe. But I admit we have had some serious drinking going on at that time. hahaha. We are well known for having some wild time pool parties. We do know how to have fun with our friends when we put on our pool parties. The kids love them. Then of course we have plenty of room in our back yard for pitching tents for those we will not allow to drink and drive. We do support safety, but yet we believe in having fun. We also do not allow drugs.
