After graduation I attended Weber State College on a Baseball scholarship. I was the starting third baseman my sophomore through senior years and was a four year letterman. All Big Sky Conference third baseman, my senior year! I did have a free agent try-out with the LA Dodgers but did not sign a contract.
My real-world work experience started as a fireman EMT at Hercules. After getting laid off, I went to work for Mac Trucks. After six years there, I was offered an outside parts rep position at Kenworth sales. Thirteen years on the road was enough. So I moved over to peterbilt in Salt Lake as a trach salesman. Moved to Boise to be the sales manager at Peterbilt there. Three years later I opened my own used semi truck and trailer sales lot but after a years's business I shut it down to move back home for a more important job, being the primary care giver to my mother and father. At that time I started a semi service inc. as a semi trailer salesman and have been here 15 years now.
I've been married a few times, but no children. I have been with my current partner in crime for 19 years, who was about 4 months old when we graduated. She keeps me young. Thanks Desiree! I love playing golf and competitive tournament softball. I was inducted into the Utah Softball Hall of Fame this summer, which I am very proud of.
