Today's Featured Biography
Stephanie Heal Johnson
I went to Snow College in 1969 for a semester after graduating from High School, too much "partying" my parents said. Started a career with Mountain Bell in Salt Lake in 1969. Married Marty Parcell in 1970, had one son, Nicholas in 1977. Divorced Marty in 1982. Married Ed Johnson, (Provo High Graduate 1958) and, being married to a builder, we have lived in 6 homes in our 26- year marriage. Primarily Provo, Mapleton and Springville areas. Ed had one son, Jeff by a prior marriage. He died in 2004.
I retired from Qwest in 2000 after 31 years of service, working in Provo primarily as an outside plant engineer and finishing the last 6 years of my telephone career as a construction foreman. Our son Nick has 4 children, including a set of twins. Interestingly, my brother Tom and my sister Christie also have a set of twin grandchildren. Huh, it must run in the family, ya think? Ed and I currently work as a builder-designer duo representing Ed Johnson Custom Design and Building. We live, unquestionably, in one of the most beautiful areas around, Hobble Creek Canyon, Springville, Utah. We live in a home on the 16th tee box of the Hobble Creek Golf Course. There are wild turkey's, moose, elk, deer, and bear that visit us throughout the year, not to mention a few snakes and racoons. I love to design homes and interior decorate, garden, play bridge, golf, and travel with my husband on Harley bike rides. We also like to spend alot of time in the summer months on our boat, at Lake Powell, Strawberry and Flaming George. Our grandkids live in Spanish Fork are the love of our lives, and we continue to work in earning their love by spoiling them rotten.
