Today's Featured Biography
Gail Butler Cardon
I graduated from BYU in German in 1972, married Dennis Cardon in the Provo Temple in May 1973. We lived in Provo while Dennis finished his degree in Chemistry in 1975 and worked for the Y for two years. Then we left Utah and saw the country: one year in Las Vegas, two years in Chicago so Dennis could get his MBA at the University of Chicago, 2 1/2 years in Corning, New York, 10 years in Nashua, NH, 4 years in Las Vegas, 9 years in Carson City, NV and now 2 years in Cumming, Georgia (northeast Metro Atlanta).
During that time we had four children and I was a stay at home Mom, childbirth educator and homeschooling Mom. Our children all graduated from universities: Jeanette from the University of Hartford and ASU, David, Laura and Stephanie from BYU -- three of the four with Masters Degrees. As of August this year all will be married; they have so far blessed us with five grandchildren. I love being a grandma and spend lots of time on airplanes going to see them.
I spend my time quilting and sewing (for grandchhildren), reading, cooking, pulling weeds (we live on an acre of land and have 40 fruit trees and lots of blueberry, raspberry and blackberry bushes), keeping the ward choir going and talking on the phone to our children and grandchildren.
It's a great life. I love living all over the country although there are times it would be really nice to live closer to the children who except for Stephanie and Michael are all in the West.
I'm sorry to be missing this year's reunion but with a wedding in Utah in mid-August and airline prices through the roof, we will have to miss it. Forty years! Who would have thought? Especially back in those halcyon days at PHS when we thought we would be young forever.

"Thank you for providing this service."

" As an administrator of our Classreport website, I want to thank everyone that has made this valuable tool available to us. This is the 4th reunion that I have helped plan and by far this has been the most enjoyable one, thanks to the use and capabilities of this website. All our classmates love the site and it has helped to bring more of us together. When I looked around the room last night and saw everyone smiling as if we were in high school again, I knew that the website was key to making it all come together. It offered us the chance to catch up before we even got to meet up and made for an even more special time. We all look forward to continuing to utilize the Classreport site and will no doubt reconnect more often as a result."

"I just returned from our class reunion and it was a resounding success, due in no small part to our participation in Classreport. Everyone I spoke to
had very positive things to say about the website. Of course there
was a lot of other hard work too, but our Classreport site was the
glue that held it altogether. My heartfelt thank you for providing us
with a really wonderful structure with which to work. Some of your competitors must be very upset by your success."
