Hello! I have been lost from the Class of 1978, since I fell in love and went to summer school and graduated in the summer of 1977....Greg and I were married in December of 1977 and celebrated our 30th Anniversary in Mexico this past December with our babies, Austin, his wife Shanna and Regan and her boyfriend, Sam. We do not have any grandbabies yet...but are patiently waiting as Austin and Shanna have been married 4 years. I became a RN in 1992 and have worked at NWTHS since that time. I currently am the Director of Adult Critical Care and am a "paper pusher". I am very blessed to work with the best staff in Amarillo that care for the very sick and wounded. My wish would be that I would never see you at work! Greg has worked for the BNSF since 1973 and has his 30 years in...we are waiting for age 60 and he will retire! My goal is to travel nurse at that time and drag him around the country so he can shoot photographs. He has also gone back to school and has a photography degree and has a gallery in Sunset Center. He has been published and is very successful for the short time he has been working at it! We are always there on the "First Friday" of the month for the Art Walk and I would love for any of you to stop by and say hi! I am also very blessed to have two responsible children. Austin works at the railroad along with his dad. His wife, Shanna works with the American Heart Association and my little girl (24) has graduated from WT and works at NW, with her mom, but in the Human Resources Department. My other two babies are yellow labs, which my children tricked me into, but I realize now it was a distraction - YellowDog for when Austin left home and LittleBill for when Regan left. I never knew a dog could shed so much and still have hair on their body...just know if you are at my house, it is to see me and that you WILL leave with dog hair on your clothes! Well, that's about it for me. With all that, and all the craziness of my younger days...I know, Life is Good! Love,Shirl
