After graduation, I went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co following the careers of my Daddy and my sister, Donna. I married Terry Scalise, class of 1960, in 1962 and became a stay-at-home mom when our son Tommy was born in 1965. In 1967 our daughter Tracie was born. The next 20 years I enjoyed raising our children, gardening, horseback riding, and volunteer work. Terry and I rode the Sam Houston Trail Ride from 1970 until 1983. My horse, Sundance, died in 1996 at age 40. I had owned him for 25 years.
In 1984 after doing volunteer work for the Klein School District I went to work at Klein Oak High School where I remained for 15 years. The last five years I worked in the Accounting Dept at the Administrative Office of KISD.
I retired in 2004 and we moved to the hill country to a place called Sunrise Beach. It is on Lake LBJ. Our son and his family live in San Antonio and our daughter and husband live in Marble Falls. Their two children are married. Life is good!
I really enjoyed our 60th Reunion and am looking forward to the next one. I hope all my classmates looking at this site will register and write your bio. We would all like to know what you have been up to the last 60 years!
In June, 2012, Terry and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with all the family at the beach. In Aug, 2012, our oldest granddaughter, Sydney, left the nest to attend Stephen F Austin University and play golf. In 2021 she is married and a 5th grade teacher in Nacogdoches. Her brother is married and lives in Comanche.
The years have gone by so fast and we had our 60th Reunion Feb 29, 2020 just as the pandemic was beginning. Looking forward to the time we can all get together again.
On Nov 15, 2022 we will be moving to Granbury, TX to be closer to our daughter. The location is Pecan Plantation. We are proud great-grandparents now to one and expecting two more in 2023. Life has been good! We are looking forward to our 80 Birthday/62 Reunion luncheon on Nov 5, 2022!!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
