United Methodist Pastor for 18 years. Presently serving the Hillsboro United Methodist Church for the past 10 years. Some college then Five year Course of Study Candler School of Theology Emory University Atlanta, GA. First marriage lasted 10 1/2 years with one child, Stacey. Second marriage of 25 years to Joyce with one step son, Michael. Daughter is first grade teacher of 9 years; step son Michael, surgical tech. We have three granddaughters with two on the way by March 2013 Wife is retiring after 33 years teaching. She will enjoy the granddaughters,teach privately, and continue with her music accomplishments.
Humbled and very grateful to have the privilege to serve within the UMC. The congregation I have been assigned the past ten years has grown and minister to the community and the world through several ministries designed by the church.
The church is located in Leipers Fork Franklin, TN, also know as Old Hillsboro, TN.
Officially chartered in 1910 as the Methodist Episcopal South the church body began meeting around 1904-1906.
