RAY COLLINS
TO THOSE OF YOU WHO KNEW MY BROTHER, ROBERT COLLINS, I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT HE PASSED AWAY, APRIL 1ST., 2008. HE SUFFERED A VERY LONG TIME AFTER HE BROKE HIS BACK SHORTLY AFTER GRADUATION. HE NEVER WAS THE BROTHER I GREW UP WITH AFTER THAT. HE BROKE HIS BACK A SECOND TIME IN 1995, OF ALL DAYS, ON MY BIRTHDAY (2/25). AFTER THAT, IT WAS PRETTY MUCH DOWN HILL AT A TERRIBLE PACE. I DIDN'T SPEAK TO ROBERT FOR THE LAST YEAR OR SO OF HIS LIFE, DUE TO A STUPID ARGUMENT. I SAW WHAT HE WAS DOING TO HIMSELF WITH THE PAINPAILLS & LIQUOR. HE WAS HURTING IN WAYS NONE OF US WHO ARE REASONABLY HEALTHY CAN FATHOM. BUT I KNOW HE'S FINE NOW. I JUST WISH I COULD'VE BEEN MAN ENOUGH TO TELL HIM I'M SORRY FOR OUR DISAGREEMENT BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE. BOB HAD A WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN. WHEREVER YOU ARE BROTHER, I LOVE YOU AND I MISS YOU, EVERY DAY.
